摘要
Understanding the operation characteristics of a wind turbine can help ensure its stable operation as well as provide information to improve the wind turbine system. In this study, the power output, rotor RPM, blade pitch angle, and major component temperature variations by the wind speed of a fixed-speed-type wind turbine were analyzed using the operation data collected from the SCADA system. In addition, the operation characteristics according to the turbulence were analyzed with the turbulence data divided into high turbulence and low turbulence. The analysis of energy density according to turbulence intensity shows that the power output increased because it has more energy in the case of high turbulence than in low turbulence. However, in the high wind speed section, high turbulence showed that the rotor RPM and power output decreased owing to the power control.
