Problem. Psychology has a lot of experience in the study of reflection, a holistic view of which can be formed in the area of intersection of different approaches. The objective of the study. To define the methodological grounds that reveal the integrity of reflection. Methodology. Principles of post-non-classical paradigm. Results. The area of intersection of the five approaches: functional, structural, phenomenological, attributive, and substrate in the study of reflection, is not a collection of knowledge about reflection. In this area we highlight the ontology and the quality of the integrity of reflection based on the critical ontology of N. Hartmann. The modal psychology of reflection is built on three methodological grounds: the regulatory - orientingly - research ontology of reflection; the integrity of reflection is determined by modality and intentionality, between which there are inverse relations; the polymodality of reflection is a triangular network of three rows of modalities. The model of the integrity of reflection is a polymodality permeated by the intentionality; and the intentionality permeated by the polymodality. The structural representation of reflection is reflected in the meta-model of reflection, which consists of four models of reflection: ontological, gnoseological, static, and dynamic. Meta-model is a model-designer. Reflection we define as the highest level of the soul layer - over consciousness, thinking, personality, activity, which is in relation to them a way of regulation, orientation and research to make choices based on the possibilities, necessity and reality with the purpose of self-organization of life of organic systems.
