Reaction of In(C6F5)3Et2O with Complexes of Copper and Silver Monochlorides with N,N′-Bis(isopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene

摘要
The reaction of In(C6F5)(3)center dot Et2O with NHCdipp center dot CuCl and NHCdipp center dot AgCl in dichloromethane at room temperature leads to the formation of the complex [(NHCdipp)Cu(mu-Cl)(2)In(C6F5)(2)] and the solvate [(NHCdipp)(2)Ag](+)center dot [In-2(mu-Cl)(C6F5)(6)](-)center dot CH2Cl2 [NHCdipp-N,N '-bis(isopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene]. Structures of the obtained compounds were determined by the single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. An increase in Lewis acidity due to the introduction of electronegative C6F5 groups makes it possible to stabilize the binuclear anion [In-2(mu-Cl)(C6F5)(6)](-).
