摘要
INTRODUCTION. Informational and Digital Media Literacy (AMID) is a leading field to overcome the barriers that different populations of the world present to the use and access to information through the media, becoming a leading field for education. This article presents the research trends regarding informational and digital media literacy in the educational field. METHOD. A documentary review is carried out in different specialized databases, applying an open, axial and selective coding (Strauss & Corbin, 2002), leading to the identification of trends; It relied on the method of relevance and opacities (Pintos, 2003), managing to unveil and expose different stories from the studies. RESULTS. Research trends are identified that emerge from the research results, from the processing and analysis of the information, exposing the leading fields such as: descriptive research objectives, media literacy as a problem field and supporting theory, and technical studies of a quantitative order from the methodological point of view. DISCUSSION. Descriptive and analytical studies are highlighted, giving rise to superficial understandings of the object of study; In relation to the educational field, gaps are identified in studies that analyze the relationship between AMID and its pedagogical, didactic and curricular components that bet on the consolidation of educational policies. In summary, social and cultural transformations in relation to informational and digital media literacy require the development of new lines of research that allow transforming training processes in educational settings.
