Point to the problem of the large-scale power cut, while the loop closing operation in distribution network will generate large loop current, it will cause the over-current protection or quick-break protection operation. A new algorithm of calculation and analysis the loop current in distribution network is proposed, a mathematic model that considering the angle changing between the main transformers is established, the steady-state circular current can be obtained by adopting two-stage method, through the establishment of differential equations to derive the relationship between impact current and steady-state circular current. In the power flow calculation, the loop current is affected that dues to the angle changing and the proportionality coefficient of voltage of main transformer, analysis the error caused by a variety of variables. The actual examples indicate the algorithm isn't only effective but also simple and practical, satisfying the request of project applying, the proposed model provides the theoretical support for the scheduling decision-making techniques in distribution network.
