摘要：

Liver transplantation program has been launched at Organ Transplant Center of Taleghani Hospital, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, since January 2009. Herein, we report on the results of 116 liver transplantations so far performed in this center. Complications occurred in 42 (36.2%; 95% CI: 27.4%-45.1%) of patients, mostly sepsis, post-operative hemorrhage and respiratory failure. 32 (27.6%) of recipients died after transplantation.
