摘要
It was shown that ring-shaped Al-Al3Ni functionally graded material (FGM) could be successfully fabricated by a centrifugal in-situ method. It was found that the size of Al3Ni particles within the FGM rings is distributed in a gradually graded manner as well as the volume fraction of Al3Ni particles. However, although mechanical properties of particle-dispersed FGMs are depended on particle shape as well as volume fraction and particle size, there is no information on the particle shape. Therefore, in this article, particle shape distributions within the ring-shaped and cylindrical Al-Al3Ni FGMs fabricated by the centrifugal in-situ method were studied.
