摘要
Primary factors impeded advances in the development of TCMS are analyzed. Some direct and indirect methods for tool wear condition monitoring are introduced. The direct methods include proximity method, radioactive method, contact resistance method, optical method, machine vision and image processing method. The indirect methods include cutting force method, acoustic emission method etc. And finally the multi-information fusion techniques in TCMS are discussed.
