摘要
The objective of this article is to verify the economic and financial viability in the installation of an aviary for the production of chickens by the integration system in the northwest region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. This is an exploratory study. The data were obtained through a non-structured questionnaire, applied to suppliers of material equipment for the construction of aviaries, through interviews with producers and documentary analysis. The feasibility analysis of the aviary was carried out with three price perspectives per chicken of $ 0.50, $0.80 and $ 1.00. The results demonstrate that: if the producer obtains from the industry the price per chicken of $ 0.50, the present value (PV) of the cash flow will be R $ (142,740.18), which demonstrates unfeasibility of the project to implement the Aviary. If the producer obtains from the industry the price of R $ 0.50 per chicken, it is evident that the NPV will be R$ 155,819.48, with a TIR of 33.09% which is higher than the TMA rate of (10% pa), Which demonstrates project feasibility; And with the price of $1.00 per chicken, the net present value (NPV) will be R$ 409.252.40, which shows that the project can recover the investment, with an internal rate of return (TIR) of 66,88% that is higher than the estimated minimum attractiveness rate (TMA) of (10% a. a).
