摘要
The paper shows possibility to obtain the silica nanoparticles by method realized using experimental plasma system. The advantages of the installation include its design and absence of necessity chlorine-containing raw materials usage. Studies on the use of different silicate raw material such as, for example, granite (silica content - 62.5%), milled glass (silica content - 72.5%) and silica sand (silica content - 98.5%) were conducted, but only results for silica sand sublimation product are presented in frames of this paper. According to the research the technological features of silica nanoparticles synthesis were identified. X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy were used to characterize the synthesized product. The obtained silica nanoparticles are agglomerated, have spherical shape and primary diameters between 10-30 nm.
