摘要
A damage identification method for offshore platforms is present in this paper. Simplify an offshore platform as a shared chain structure, with the mode parameters before and after damage happen and Mass Elimination Algorithm, global stiffness loss along vertical direction can be calculated. The location of max stiffness loss can be considered as the vertical damage location. Then, horizontal damage location can be considered as the location of max mode shape change. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the process of the method.
