摘要：

This paper presents a statistical area identification method for [sic], that is, a statistical method to identify [sic] names [sic] to their areas. The system is based on simple statistical information, length information and n-[sic] data, which are automatically [sic] from [sic]. In this paper we show [sic] results of area identification for person names targeting give English speaking areas: Australia, Canada, Singapore, United Kingdom and United States.
