摘要
From the viewpoint of nonequilibrium thermodynamics and surface physics, we propose a mathematical model for the determination of the electrochemical parameters on the boundary of a metal with an inert medium depending on the concentration of conductivity electrons and the surface energy with regard for the internal mechanical stresses caused by the redistribution of electrons. On the basis of the experimental values of surface tension and surface energy, we theoretically estimate the capacitance and the potential of double electric layer for the diagnostics of the quality of corrosion protection of steel.
