摘要
The dimensional changes of automobile parts during high-speed operation are essential to product reliability. To analyze the influences, a censored experiment was proposed in the paper. To conduct the analysis, the experiment was conducted on a clutch hub. First of all, the high-speed test of the hub was conducted and the deformation data was obtained. Then the censored number was calculated based on sample size and costs. Finally, the working speed and dimension range were calculated under reliability design requirements at a cost-effective basis. The proposed method could also be applied to other similar products for the reliability improvement and design.
