摘要
We are living in an era of advanced technology that has impacted almost every aspect of our life today. We are showing that growth in a number of miniaturized communications systems that are covering different wireless services capable of achieving a wide frequency range. A new formulation is proposed in the present work by combining the moment method and generalized equivalent circuit's method (MOM-GEC) in order to study the performance of a reconfigurable antenna using PIN diodes. The PIN diode effects are represented in the mathematical formulation by the surface impedance model. Obtained numerical results are presented and discussed. The simulation results are in good agreement with those obtained by software simulation.
