摘要
Kinetics of oxidation and disappearance of graphite in MgO-C refractory bricks have been investigated in the temperature range from 1000 to 1200 degreesC, where graphite is mainly consumed by gaseous oxygen in air. A mathematical model, including kinetic parameters, has been proposed to explain the extent of oxidation with time. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd and Techna S.r.l. All rights reserved.
