摘要
The shift from analog to digital broadcasting has led not only to multi-channels and high-resolution TV broadcasting, but also, through TV plus data, to interactive services previously unavailable on TV. Organically combined with existing or future large-capacity networks, digital TV broadcasting has great potential in its application to electronic commerce, sales promotion, and programs in which viewers can also participate. This paper discusses the development of digital video technology that forms the basis for digital TV broadcasting technologies, and examines at expectations and issues related to digital TV broadcasting.
