摘要
With the aim to investigate the influence of the presence of two magnetic phases (SmCo5 and alpha-Fe) on the magneto resistance, Cu-80(Sm0.17Co0.83)(10)Fe-10 granular ribbons were prepared by melt spinning. The structural, magnetic and magnetoresistive properties are investigated by X-ray diffraction, Mossbauer spectrometry and magnetization measurements. A significant magnetoresistance effect of 16% at 4K is observed for optimum annealing conditions (400degreesC for 1 h). (C) 2003 Published by Elsevier B.V.
