The field-trap effect in heat transfer under conditions of boiling of dielectric liquids in external electric fields

摘要
An experimental study is made into the effect of nonuniform external electric fields on local heat transfer under conditions of boiling of liquid nitrogen. A significant increase in the heat-transfer coefficients is observed in field trap sites on heated surfaces.
