摘要
The World Health Organization (WHO) is promoted utilization of information technology (IT) including the Internet as e-Health to provide information and services which are useful in health promotion. However, in countries which use Chinese characters, there is a relatively short history since the establishment of keyboards that supported these character systems, and this is resulting in delays in the popularization of e-Health. In these regions, it is desirable to utilize systems which can be used by simple screen operations without requiring the use of a keyboard. Accordingly, Maebashi City which is a core Japanese city formerly known for its silk production located a little over 100km north of Tokyo, has been implementing activities for a project in cooperation with the Maebashi Institute of Technology and other organizations. This project aims to resolve the various issues facing the region by utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) using a tablet-type device which does not require keyboard operation. Meanwhile, the Maebashi Institute of Technology and Nakayo, Inc. had already been building a health management system for elderly persons which used ICT utilizing a tablettype device that does not require keyboard operation. Accordingly, in this study, investigation was carried out regarding an efficient women's healthcare management system that combines these two activities, and a mechanism was proposed which would centrally unite both. In this paper, the validity of the women's healthcare management realized by linking this system with the Women's Healthcare Portal is confirmed using field trials, and the necessity of building a system that unifies both is confirmed.
