摘要：
Presently there is no doubt that fluid and electrolyte therapy (FET) in cattle is an essential therapeutic tool that should be used by every bovine practitioner, especially in the treatment of newborn calves. Despite a wide range of very good publications about this subject, many calves die of diarrhea or other diseases when FET is not administered properly, as dehydration and acidosis are life-threatening conditions.
