Lessons Learned from a Structured Undergraduate Mentorship Program in Computational Mathematics at George Mason University

摘要
We present the results from the first; two years of the Undergraduate Research for Computational Mathematics (URCM) program at George Mason University (Mason). In this program, students work oil a. year-long research project in Computational Science while being supervised by a mentor. We describe the structure and goals of this program along with some observations about: the elements that we have found that have been challenging in its implementation. Finally, we will provide a summary of the outcomes of the first two years of this project.(1)
