摘要
A method for strength analysis of brittle short tubular specimens within a temperature range of 300 - 1300 K is described. In this method, the test specimen is fractured by the action of a hydraulic load transferred through a compound plastic medium appropriately chosen for a given temperature. Experimental results for single-crystal corundum with a spread of 10% are presented.
