On the Measurement of Surface Resistance of a Superconductor

摘要
Modification of traditional experimental method for determination of microwave surf ace resistance of high-temperature superconducting (HTS) films is suggested. As shown, the surface resistance of HTS films can be determined from measurement of the quality factor of microstrip resonator patterned from the film under study. The method suggested in a present work allows to simplify essentially the measurement technique, which is traditionally used for determination of the microwave surface resistance in superconductors.
