New Efficient and Accurate Method of Generation of Standard Cells Liberty files for Timing and Internal Power

摘要
In this paper, a new methodology of fast timing and power characterization of standard cell library based on the mathematical equations is proposed. This mathematical approach is chosen in order to perform a fast characterization with a reduce set of simulations and hence reduce considerably the CPU resources needed for this step of standard cell design. The accuracy checks performed on generated liberty files are also presented. Real circuit implementations of generated liberty files based on scaling models and the characterized ones show an error less than 3%.
