摘要
In this paper, a comparative study of different artificial Intelligence (AI) and hybrid AI approaches is presented. Total time of operation of directional over current relays (DOCRs) can be reduced, and also maintained the coordination constraints, and that will be done by selecting the optimum values of time multiplier setting (TMS) and plug setting (PS) of DOCRs. Towards this goal, different optimization approaches such as Genetic Algorithm (GA), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Accelerated Particle Swarm Optimization (APSO) and APSO-Linear Programming (APSO-LP) are applied to solve coordination problem for DOCRs on 15 bus-test case. The obtained results present that hybrid APSO-LP method gives the most effective solution for this complex problem.
