摘要
The compositional and structural characterization of block copolymers of poly(styrene-b-methyl methacrylate) was studied using liquid chromatographic techniques. Critical point chromatography is useful for obtaining compositional information for polymers with differing end groups or those containing comonomers. Critical point conditions were established for polystyrene and polymethyl methacrylate by analyzing three narrow standards of varying molecular weight under different compositions. Developments in LC can be used to determine detailed structural information on a complex polymer system using relatively simple and HPLC equipment.
