Given a non-singular transformation T on a sigma-finite measure space (X, beta, m), we describe a new ratio condition that is necessary and sufficient for the existence of a T-invariant sigma-finite measure equivalent to m. (c) 2006 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
