摘要
Effect of the molecular mobility of polymers, occurring in the glassy or rubberlike state, on the transport of excess charge carriers in these systems is, considered. The nonspherical character of the wavefunctions of molecular orbitals in the hopping centers, the presence of a free fluctuation volume, the short-range order in the arrangement of hopping centers, and the retarded rotation of molecular groups are factors justifying the application of a multiple trapping model. According to this model, the transport of excess charge carriers takes place in the charge-transfer band in the presence of traps distributed within a broad energy Interval. The main parameters of charge transfer in a number of polymers are presented. An analysis of these data leads to a conclusion that the translational mobility of segments in polymers in the rubberlike state plays no significant role in the charge carrier transfer.
