摘要
Information technology (IT) capability plays an important role in the rapidly changing environment. So enterprise must build and enhance IT capability. Through reviewing literature, we summarize the components of the IT capability. Specifically, we use empirical study to verify that IT capability is comprised of four dimensions, namely IT architecture and routine, IT infrastructure, human IT resource and IT relationship assets. Moreover, we designated an index system of IT capability. Based on a large-scale questionnaire study, this paper examines IT capability's contribution to performance based on 145 valid samples. The findings indicate that, IT capability is positively associated with the firm's performance. Among the IT capability's contribution to performance; the effects of different capabilities are different.
