摘要
In this survey paper we will focus about existing routing protocols with their characteristics and performance. Mobile ad hoc network is a group of nodes connected through with no centralized medium and access point. This is self organizing and self configuring device. MANETs are very innovative and challenging areas of networking background. In few years a enormous research has been done on (MANETs). There are still some challenges and issues because of limited resources. Due to the reason of these limited resources to design an effective and intelligent routing approach is still a challenge in (MANETS). Mobile ad hoc network is very flexible and stable network. We can easily setup this type of network at anytime anywhere, but the main problem is topology changes rapidly. To overcome these types of problems numbers of routing protocols have been developed.
