摘要
Incremental dynamic analysis (IDA), progressive IDA and web-based approximate IDA were employed in this study in order to estimate seismic risk by using relatively simple IM-based closed-form solution. All three methods for prediction of seismic response parameter are based on nonlinear dynamic analysis and enable estimation of record-to-record variability in structural response by using a set of ground motion records. The comparative evaluation of the three methods is demonstrated by means of seismic performance assessment of an eight-storey reinforced concrete frame. It is shown that all considered methods are capable of predicting 16th, 50th and 84th fractile IDA with sufficient accuracy although computational time, which is required for analysis, significantly differ from method to method.
