摘要
In this paper a problem of contrast sharpening of color images is addressed. The concept of Color lum sharpener (CLUM) is proposed for enhancement of contrast of old church paintings images. This color sharpener is based on local contrast enhancing techniques. The simple measure of contrast for color images is considered. Some versions of CLUM are proposed based on different ordering schemes in RGB as well as in HSV color space. The color pixels in the sharpening window are sorted and their rank is a based for image sharpening.
