摘要
Catheter-related bloodstream infection (CRBSI) is a source of significant morbidity and mortality in hemodialysis patients. Several strategies for CRBSI prevention have been investigated. Not all have proven effective and those that have are not without risk. There is a critical need for a safe and effective method for preventing CRBSI.
