Vibrational dynamics in liquids and frozen matrices studied by Raman and IR spectroscopy

摘要
Raman spectroscopy has developed into one of the most powerful tools for fundamental investigations and practical application!; in gases, liquids and solids. In this paper some examples of Raman applications for studying vibrational dynamics occurring in picosecond and femtosecond scale in liquids, glassy and crystalline frozen matrices are given. The results obtained from linear and nonlinear methods of Raman and IR spectroscopies will be compared.
