MODELING AND SIMULATION TO ASSESS PASSENGER COMFORT RIDE IN MEDIUM SIZED BUSES

摘要
This paper presents mathematical modeling and simulation methodology of vertical vibrations occurred on the body of buses driven on different road (profiles) conditions. By implementing Fuzzy Logic controller in Matlab (R)/Simulink (R) package adaptively controlled suspension system model of the studied vehicle has been created. Also, some analyses of advantages and disadvantages of the quarter and half car models are discussed; and via computer simulation analyses of comfort ride effects on human health according to ISO 2631 in time and frequency domains of the designed adaptive suspension model and conventional passive suspension models are performed.
