摘要
The soft sensor is a kind of mechanism used for reconstructing missing, or difficult to obtain, measurements from available data. It is an important building block in a wide range of technological systems including control, communications, biomedical, radar and environmental. In this paper, we review the design trade-offs for soft sensors and address the performances of soft sensor in detail. We show that there are fundamental and unavoidable limitations related with their performance.
