A study was conducted to investigate the relationship between switched systems and the conceptual basis of circuit theory. It focused on investigating switching systems in the context of linearity and nonlinearity (NL) and the role of the instants of singularity of time-functions. Investigations focused on some switched elements, along with physical and hardware structure relevant to the mathematical description. It was demonstrated that switching of the usual elements were able to create either LTV of NL system and the influencing function, called 'informative' function or the 'trigger' was an input of the comparator. It was also observed that there were two possibilities in the context of switched systems, while switching observation through inflection of a line in the plane of some stable variables, such as x1 and x 2 generated a stable result.
