摘要
Dynamical properties of strongly coupled dusty plasmas have been studied using molecular dynamics (MD) simulation. Systems of dust particles immersed in a plasma are modeled by a collection of particles interacting via Yukawa (screened Coulomb) potentials. Thermodynamic properties of Yukawa systems can be characterized by two parameters, i.e., K. (the ratio of the average interparticle distance to the Debye length of the background plasma) and Gamma (the ratio of the interparticle Coulomb potential energy to the kinetic energy per particle). By examining velocity autocorrelation functions and mean square displacement for single particle diffusion, we have obtained self-diffusion coefficients of Yukawa systems for various K and Gamma values.
