Slag behavior in iron ore pellets during reduction under load

摘要
Reduction under load (RUL) tests, done on iron ore pellet samples of different compositions (silica, lime and magnesia), give a surprisingly wide range of values. Mineralogical study of these pellets, before and after RUL, has been done. The impact of different slag behaviors on pellet mechanical strength is described.
