摘要
The adsorption ability of the supported lariat azacrowns for alkali picrate has been studied. The lariat crown ethers with extra oxygen donors in the spacer chain exhibited higher adsorption than the corresponding supported crowns without the donors in the spacer. The increased adsorption ability was concluded to result from the enhanced binding with alkali ion, induced by the cooperative coordination of the crown unit donors and the donors in the spacer chain. The recovered crown ethers could be re-used without decrease in adsorption ability.
