Two approaches for reactive flow at low Mach number

摘要
Low Mach number flows with significant density changes due to heat release are of great interest in simulations of combustion. Numerical methods are studied for the solution of the corresponding low Mach number approximations of the Navier-Stokes equations. The methods under investigation are a finite-difference method, based on pressure relaxation and alternatively a new formulation of the Lattice-Boltzmann method.
