摘要
Magnetic excitations of cobalt-based nanowires are investigated by measuring the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation (SLR) of Co-59 in zero and 1 T applied field. Co/Cu multilayers are shown to have a faster SLR than bulk Co. This relaxation is of magnetic origin and due to the layered structure. Oxidized wires have a temperature dependence of the SLR which provides direct evidence of the thermal fluctuation of the uncompensated spins of the CoO grains at the surface of the wires.
