摘要
We have investigated low-dimensional magnetic behaviors of tri-rutile compounds, especially of CoSb2O6 and CuSb2O6. The CoSb2O6 oxide was found to show a spin-freezing behavior at low temperature probably owing to the magnetic frustration. The CuSb3O6 compound also shows a one-dimensional magnetic susceptibility and an abrupt drop at 8.5 K, indicating a magnetic transition whose origin has been an open question. As a preliminary result of NMR/NQR measurements, this magnetic transition can be attributed to the spin-Peierls transition. (C) 2000 Published by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
