摘要：
Visual metaphor is one of the salient features in Samuel Beckett's dramaticlues. This thesis attempts to analyze the visual expression of life and movement. The analysis comes to the light that the life of the protagonist is meaningless and full of pain, whose pursuit is to escape the bitterness and agony and finally make himself oblivious.
