Optical systems of night-vision devices

This paper describes optical systems for night-vision devices with single-chamber and biplanar image-converter tubes: fast lens-based objectives with focusing by both external and internal components; fast mirror-lens objectives, including a version of an objective made from one type of glass and a version of an erect-image objective; an eyepiece with a remote exit pupil, a zoom eyepiece, and a binocular prism-lens magnifier with an erect image and with inversion.
