摘要
This creative model tree makes learning about trees and urban wildlife fun for students and teachers alike. The sculptured trunk and fallen log let children explore trees with their imaginations and senses. Students are invited to place their own handmade animals on the model and study how different animals use trees for habitat. Teachers can borrow the model to enhance units in science, art, and language. Classes have been inspired to plant trees at school and develop an outdoor classroom after using The Habitat Tree. They discover a connection to the trees they share with urban wildlife on city streets.
