摘要
The paper analyzes the economic and financial situation of Spanish university spin-offs in 2012, and the factors affecting their turnover. The diagnosis of 346 companies shows that they mostly are engaged in the provision of services, and are small and youth. Overall they are solvent, but they should improve their operating results. Their average turnover is around 400.000 Euros. The spin-offs that exceed this figure are older, and those which have emerged in universities who give physical space for its location and are in the first quartile investigator ranking.
