摘要
Delbruck scattering is the deflection of high-energy photons in the Coulomb field of nuclei as a consequence of vacuum polarization. It is one of the nonlinear effects of quantum electrodynamics where detailed information is available. In the present article the status of the experimental and theoretical researches on this process are outlined. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
