APPLYING CAE TOOL FOR ANALYSIS STRESS AND OPTIMIZATION OF THE CRANKSHAFT IN THE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

摘要
Nowadays, Computer Aided Design (CAE) develops strongly, and it is applying in most of the engineering problems for structure analysis, assessment and optimization, so that is an advantage for researchers. This paper presents CAE capabilities in the stress analysis of a crankshaft corresponding working cases of engine and optimization structure of the crankshaft by stress constraints. Addition, also change stress of crankshaft when gas pressure load were changed. The studying performs on four cylinders engine in an in-line, and the result will be showing stress of the crankshaft at critical positions and comparing crankshaft and give a better model structure.
